New York City My Way

New York is a city that you can visit a million times and do something different every trip. We recently had a trip descend into New York to see the Tina Turner musical on Broadway, and Haley tagged along with the trip and made the most of her day.

There is SO much to do in New York City on any given day, but below are just some of the tourist favorites that keep people coming back for more.

Broadway is back and there are so many shows that have made their debut again; Waitress, Diana: A True Musical Story, Mrs. Doubtfire, Moulin Rouge and Chicago are just some of the trips we have coming up that will wow any theatre lover who has missed Broadway! Guests who saw the Tina Turner musical last week at the Lunt Fontanne Theatre truly enjoyed the show and loved being in the theatre again.

Like there is no shortage of shows to see on Broadway, there is also no shortage of amazing museums to check out in New York. There is pretty much a museum for everyone in the city that never sleeps. For art museums, think the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art and the Guggenheim Museum (although there are many, many more art museums to be found.)

For history, the American Museum of Natural History cannot be missed, and other good museums include the 9/11 Memorial and the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.

There truly is nothing like New York City in the fall and on a nice autumn day, there is no better place to enjoy the weather than in Central Park. Strolling through the park can oftentimes be entertaining enough, but the kids would also enjoy a ride on the carousel or a visit to the Central Park Zoo.

And speaking of zoos… if you have the time to make it out of Manhattan, the Bronx Zoo is well worth the trip. The Bronx Zoo is the Wildlife Conservation Society’s flagship park and is home to over 6,000 animals and 700 species. The zoo is sprawling on 265 acres of land in the Bronx and has so much to offer visitors.

In addition to viewing the exhibits, the Zoo has educational programs, a treetop adventure, a monorail that goes around the park and gives you a behind-the-scenes look at even more animal exhibits and shows throughout the day.

Like we said before, there really is no lack of activities for you and your family to enjoy while visiting New York City. So, what are you waiting for? Book your trip to New York City with us now!
