Driver Trainer - Multi Bus Program

Yankee Trails would like to introduce a new Driver Trainer/Multi-Bus Program which could earn all *eligible Drivers a $50 "Bonus" payment!! (made thru your RAMP account)

Eligible Drivers will be assigned the lead position on a multi-bus move. They will be responsible for overseeing the Trainee that has also been given the same assignment and will be "graded on" whether or not the following expectations have been met:

• Driver Trainer will contact Trainee at least 24-72 hours prior to departure and provide Trainee with their contact information and introduce themselves as the Driver Trainer that will be assisting with the assignment. They will go over the itinerary including garage ("start") time as well as any questions either the Driver Trainer OR the Trainee has about the work assignment.
• Driver Trainer will confirm the SONIM device on their bus, as well as the Trainee's bus is in working condition by performing a communication test prior to departure.
• Driver Trainer will maintain a safe driving distance from Trainee, making sure speed limits are followed and Trainee does not get left behind. If so, Driver Trainer will use SONIM to communicate their location as they wait for Trainee to catch up.
• Driver Trainer will communicate with Trainee throughout duration of assignment, providing guidance, answering questions, etc. to ensure a smooth driving experience for the Trainee.

Both the Driver Trainer AND the Trainee will receive a survey 24 hours following their assignment, asking them to rate one another. IF both surveys are completed AND the Trainee agrees that the Driver Trainer performed the required tasks in a professional and courteous manner, the Driver Trainer will be issued a $50 "bonus" payment thru their RAMP account.
