In 1957, Yankee Trails opened its doors with the goal of providing safe, affordable motorcoach transportation to patrons in and around Upstate New York. Shuttle service between Albany and Vermont put the company on the map and continues to operate today while motorcoach charter services make up a large part of the company’s business. Groups still enjoy the convenience of hiring Yankee Trails to transport them to the destination of their choice.

During the late 1980’s, Yankee Trails introduced individual tour packages to destinations up and down the east coast as well as the Midwest and occasionally parts of Western United States. Over the years the company has seen considerable growth, and is currently one of the largest tour and charter motor carriers in the Northeast.

In 1999, Yankee Trails expanded their services and changed their name to Yankee Trails World Travel. With the addition of a full service travel agency, the company now provides an endless array of travel opportunities, including air fare and cruise accommodations.
